Shirakawago Shiroyamakan
Shirakawa-go, a Japanese landscape woven by the traditional Gassho-style villages and abundant nature. The renowned inn "Shiroyamakan," founded here in the 17th year of the Meiji era, underwent a rebranding by Alive Vietnam. The concept focuses on "harmony with nature" and "Wa-modern" aesthetics. As the only inn with spring water in Shirakawa-go and designated as an important traditional building by the government, Shiroyamakan has embodied the beauty of nature and the charm of Japan. Now, it has been refreshed to embody a more delicate and refined image as a healing retreat.
Overview
We primarily worked on setting brand colors, creating key visuals, designing the logo, and producing the website. For the logo, we utilized the initial “S” of Shiroyamakan, representing the charm of summer in Shirakawa-go with elements such as “Gassho-style roofs,” “lush green mountains,” “tranquil flowing rivers,” and “pleasant breezes.” Additionally, as this rebranding was associated with the renovation of the inn, we also assisted in designing the interior to aim for a place of playful relaxation created by the harmony between nature and people.
