Approach to Solving the Project Challenges
As the first Japanese EMS enterprise in Vietnam, WSE operates a massive factory capable of handling diverse OEM demands and manufacturing precision electronic components.
Our first task was to clarify the business appeal and potential through comprehensive information organization.
We began with online research and analysis to understand the market trends and business context, mapping out WSE’s current brand position.
The target audience was not limited to Vietnam but included Japanese companies engaging in or exploring cross-border development, as well as future expansion toward clients of various nationalities and industries.
Design Focus
With this in mind, the website was planned and developed with multilingual functionality (Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, and English), including native translation for accuracy and tone.
Additionally, we were commissioned to produce a corporate introduction video to help audiences easily grasp the company’s strengths and capabilities.
By visiting the factory on-site, we gained deeper insight into WSE’s operations and brand personality, applying those learnings not only to the video scenario but also to the overall website design and structure.
Design and Development Focus
For the corporate PR video, we conducted location scouting (loc-hunting) in advance to assess visual subjects and environments.
Given the nature of the EMS business, where technical details can easily lead to heavy text content, we focused on a balanced use of video and photography to maintain visual engagement.
From the draft stage, we used realistic mock images to establish the visual direction, which allowed for smooth communication with the client during filming and enabled high-quality production results.
The design concept also aimed to convey a sense of innovation and precision, reflecting the company’s technological expertise while maintaining an exciting and dynamic user experience that holds the viewer’s attention.
Results
The final website successfully delivered a refined multilingual design, appealing to audiences across four languages with a clear, engaging, and visually compelling presentation of WSE’s strengths and identity.
The client expressed high satisfaction with the site’s attention to detail, clarity, and balance between design and information architecture, resulting in a powerful communication tool for both domestic and global audiences.
