This is a website design for a company in the garment industry, expertly crafted by ALIVE Vietnam.
ALIVE Vietnam receives numerous inquiries about website development daily. Since our clients aren’t web design professionals, they often ask a variety of questions. So, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions that come up during website development consultations.
For a landing page (LP), it takes about 1.5 to 2 months. For a small-scale site, it takes around 2 to 3 months, and for a medium-scale site, it takes approximately 3 to 5 months. The production period may extend if there are delays in the client’s responses, so your support is essential to ensure a smooth process.
We hold production meetings every 1 to 2 weeks while working on the design. We start by designing the top page, and once you approve the top page design, we proceed to the lower-level pages. As we finalize the design, we confirm the specifications and then move on to development. Once the website is test-uploaded, we perform functionality checks, and if there are no issues, we launch the site.
During the design phase, changes to specifications are possible. However, changes made after development has started may incur additional costs.
Yes, we use a responsive design that automatically adjusts the layout based on the screen width, ensuring the website is fully mobile-friendly.
We implement a CMS like WordPress, allowing you to update these sections yourself. However, not all parts of the website will be editable by you. We will define the sections you can update in advance, and only those areas will be available for your updates. For other changes, ALIVE will handle the updates, which may incur additional costs.
Ongoing costs include server and domain fees. You can either provide these yourself or have ALIVE arrange them for you (additional fees apply in the latter case).
There are no other mandatory costs. However, if you request monthly backups or WordPress updates, a maintenance fee may apply. For any modifications that arise, we will provide a quote on a case-by-case basis.
Creating a multilingual website is more complex than developing a standard website, so estimates are typically 20-30% higher. Additionally, you need to decide whether translations will be handled by ALIVE or by you. If ALIVE handles the translations, there will be additional translation costs beyond the production fee. For translations from Japanese to Vietnamese and English, our staff will translate into Vietnamese, and for English, the translation will be reviewed by a native English speaker with Vietnamese background after an initial translation by our staff.
You can find detailed considerations for creating a multilingual website here:
→ Points to Develop a Multilingual Website
If the client’s representative is Japanese, we typically start with the Japanese design. If the representative is Vietnamese, we usually start with the Vietnamese design. This approach helps ensure a better understanding of the content.
Progressing designs for multiple languages simultaneously can be complicated because any text revisions require updates to all language designs. Therefore, we complete the design for one language before moving on to design the other languages.
Since clients are not typically experts in content creation, we can certainly help with writing content. If we provide this service, additional charges for writing will apply.
While we do not have an in-house photography team, we have partners for both photo and video services. We can assist with the entire photography process and provide direction on what kinds of photos to take.
ALIVE has an office in Ho Chi Minh City and rents a coworking space in Hanoi where we do not have full-time staff. However, we can still accommodate clients in Hanoi. Generally, communication will be conducted online, but if necessary, we can arrange on-site meetings at an additional cost.
Our parent company, ALIVE Co., Ltd., has been supporting design and marketing for 20 years. ALIVE Vietnam inherits this expertise and is capable of providing guidance on promotion and marketing.
ALIVE Co., Ltd., our parent company, specializes in SEO, and we offer SEO support to our clients in Vietnam based on the know-how developed there.
We may communicate with clients via Chatwork, Slack, Zalo, and other platforms.
Typically, the payment is split with half due at the time of contract and the remaining balance due upon delivery. If there are additional costs during the production process, these will be added to the final invoice at the time of delivery.
How was this information? Did you have similar questions? ALIVE is committed to answering your questions sincerely, so if you have any design or marketing inquiries, please feel free to contact us.

We are ALIVE based in Vietnam
This is a website design for a company in the garment industry, expertly crafted by ALIVE Vietnam.
In 2023, Vietnam's economic growth rate slowed to 5.05%, below the government target of 6.5%, due to the downturn in the export industry and the real estate industry. In 2024, however, the Vietnamese economy is expected to gradually recover, partly due to the government's economic measures.
In 2023, Vietnam's export industry was sluggish due to slowing demand from Europe, the U.S., and China, and there was a wave of restructuring among both local and foreign companies in the manufacturing and real estate sectors. On the other hand, it is a fact that we began to see articles and columns in the media reporting that the economy is gradually showing signs of recovery in 2024. In fact, Alive Vietnam has been receiving an increasing number of inquiries from companies wishing to market their products and services to the Vietnamese market.
Vietnam is expected to continue experiencing long-term economic growth. In recent years, the rising labor costs in Vietnam, coupled with the impact of the weak yen, have made "securing good talent at reasonable costs" one of the key challenges. Therefore, we have compiled various currently available data to provide an overview of "Vietnam's salary trends and what Japanese companies should do now to attract top talent."
